In such cases, therapy or counseling is an appropriate initial step. I am a licensed professional counselor with a strong background in mental health and allopathic medicine, and with extensive expertise spanning many years. I strive to bring my broad knowledge, training, and skill set to my professional counseling. My counseling and psychotherapy expertise includes working with children, adolescents, and adults with various mental health, addictive, coping, and dependency problems.
I help clients resolve crises, anxiety attacks, emotional trauma, accidents/natural disasters, depression, and financial hardships. I am understanding, compassionate, and experienced in counseling individuals from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, while maintaining a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. I aim to help clients experience a breakthrough moment in therapy sessions; many who have attended my sessions have achieved this goal. I utilize various therapy models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Evidence-Based Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
